A Pause to Catch My Breath

Pivot or Die

I know for some of you this is supposed to be the most anticipated article Iโ€™ve written; the one where I explain how I keep a schedule for everything I’m doing. So Iโ€™ve written it several times over because I wanted to make sure I packed as much of the information I want to convey in it as possible. This has caused a sort of paralysis. I donโ€™t want to disappoint, but thatโ€™s exactly why I started this blog the way I did in the first place. Not to disappoint, but to write this stuff out for me and let you read over my shoulders instead of writing for you.

Somewhere along the way, Iโ€™ve started writing it for you, that has led to wanting to make a regular schedule of posts and planning what topics to cover, and that has turned this whole thing into a project much more complex than Iโ€™d ever planned or hoped it would be. Iโ€™ve done exactly the thing I really wanted to avoid, and that was that Iโ€™ve basically ended up treating this as a bonafide project with goals, milestones, and future plans, and it that makes it a tangent that is taking away from what I really want and need to be doing in my life in order to pay my bills.

My two options are to go ahead and make it an actual teaching thing, with videos, lessons, and structure, or really deprioritize from my schedule, at the risk of disappointing people or letting some of you down.

Deep in holiday shopping season isnโ€™t the time to make the choice, so Iโ€™m putting this whole thing on hold until after the new year.
